The decision is for Respawn, whatever they deem best for their game.
The website says it's Xbox One - although some might say they're talking ship.
The games have been top notch, particularly NSLU. Still waiting for the PAL release of Dr Luigi.. and, of course, Luigi's Mansion 2 was a gem. Great stuff.
All the more reason!
I mean, this is so subtle and inoffensive it's hard to imagine anyone taking exception to it - I didn't even notice it when I played this game :s
And 12 months of PS3 sales, right.
Well yeah, there are many different kinds of 3D fighting games, for many different audiences.. they're not all 'God of War clones'..
Over three million ;)
God of War comparison is sort of a back-handed compliment - obviously it's a well-liked and acclaimed series, but it's not exactly Ninja Gaiden.
I think it'll end up with quite a broad audience base, the challenge being to keep everyone happy.. for people like me that means carrying on pumping out games.
Who reacts?
'Assume' being the key word.
Note also that Microsoft announced their number first, not knowing if Sony's would be rounded to 3m or 4m or what.
Hmm, I think it's our journalists who need to be careful when it comes to making assumptions about figures that weren't specifically stated.
Nintendo knows how to pick them!
I fully expect more great games by this studio in the coming years.
Not sure where this '1.2m more' figure is coming from, Microsoft said it sold 'over 3m' so the gap could actually be as low as, what, about 0.3m?
Good fight in store this generation though, we can all agree on that.
I haven't watched wrestling in years but this is really tempting me back.
Starting to ramp up a bit of excitement for this..
Masterful.
That's it big lad, let it all out. Usually generic, catch-all rant pieces like this are found in comments sections rather than on the websites of respected(?) publications.
Hilarious use of that Wario pic, lol.
Much like with arcade games, if you put in extra money you can buy your way to 'success' but it is only to your own detriment, the fun of winning is lost.
